COURSE OVERVIEW - This unit specifies the outcomes required to operate a slewing mobile crane (up to 20 tonnes) for licencing purposes. It encompasses the requirement for non-slewing mobile crane licence and the vehicle loading crane licence.
This unit is based on the requirements of the National Standard for Licensing Persons Performing High Risk Work and provides the knowledge and skills required to obtain a High Risk Work Licence to operate a slewing mobile crane (up to 20 tonnes)

DURATION - 5 Days, 8:00am - 4:00pm each day
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW & DO -
ASSESSMENTS - Three (3) assessments will be conducted over the duration of the course – Knowledge, Calculations and Practical Assessments. All critical components must be demonstrated and answered correctly.
REASSESSMENT - Applicants deemed not yet competent will be provided the opportunity to undergo further training. Applicants cannot be reassessed for a minimum of 48 hours; fees may apply for each section that requires reassessment.
LICENCES & CERTIFICATION - This course is a Nationally Recognised Training and applicants’ deemed competent at the conclusion of the course will be provided with a Statement of Attainment and the appropriate Licensing Body’s - Licence to Perform High Risk Work Application form. This application is to be lodged at Australia Post which incurs an additional cost and payable to Australia Post.
